Naman Howell is excited to announce that member Stephanie S. Potter has been elected to membership in the Fellows of the Texas Bar Foundation.
Stephanie Potter focuses on civil litigation and administrative law. Stephanie has represented electric and telephone utilities in regulatory proceedings involving up to a billion dollars before the State Office of Administrative Hearings, the Public Utility Commission of Texas, in state district and appellate courts, and in arbitration. Stephanie represents non-utility clients in wide-ranging regulated industries, assisting businesses and individuals with permitting, licensing, and enforcement actions before various Texas state agencies such as the Railroad Commission, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation, the Texas Real Estate Commission, the Texas Racing Commission, and others.
In addition to her administrative practice, Stephanie represents business clients in state and federal court disputes throughout Texas, both at the trial and appellate levels. She has eminent domain experience on behalf of both landowners and government entities. She has argued at the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Stephanie has been a regular presenter on topics such as condemnation, wind energy, utility easements, and regulation of rural telecommunications at seminars throughout her career.
