Partner Margaret Metzinger at Frantz Ward LLP (Cleveland, OH) Is Announced As the New Chair of Women’s Initiative

Frantz Ward is pleased to share that Partner Margaret M. Metzinger has stepped into the role of Chair of the firm’s Women’s Initiative. With more than 23 years of experience in law coupled with a strong sense of involvement in her community, Maggie is a competent leader and is an excellent choice to lead the Initiative.

The Women’s Initiative is committed to the recruitment, retention, promotion and mentoring of the firm’s female attorneys through leadership, training, networking and community involvement.

“I am proud to take on this role and to serve as a catalyst for positive change and a champion of empowerment for our female attorneys,” stated Maggie. “This role is not just a title; it’s a commitment to our female attorneys and to forging a more inclusive and equitable environment for all.”

Designed to promote successful legal careers for female attorneys, the Initiative has sponsored several organizations that support women in law, including Cleveland Gender Equity in Legal Industry Forum, the Federation of Defense and Corporal Counsel (FDCC) Ladder Down Program, Cleveland’s Female Entrepreneur Summit and Women’s Business Enterprise Council – Ohio River Valley Region.

The Women’s Initiative is also active in the Cleveland community, meeting regularly with local law school women’s law associations and volunteering with non-profit organizations related to women’s causes, including Laura’s Home and Cleveland Rape Crisis Center.

Maggie’s practice encompasses basic estate planning needs, wrongful death matters, will contests, estate administration, trust administration and obtaining guardianships for both minors and adults. She previously served as a member of the Walk, Rock & Roll Executive Leadership Team for the Diversity Center and a Fundraising and Pro Bono Volunteer for Camp Ho Mita Koda, a camp for children and young adults with Type 1 Diabetes.
