Congratulations to Lisa Ramsay Cole and Jackie Dixon who were both named to Nashville Post’s In Charge legal leaders. The Nashville Post says it’s 2024 In Charge list represents those in Nashville to call on to make the city the best it can be.
Lisa Cole is a highly experienced and accomplished attorney with a strong focus on civil trial litigation in various areas of law. Her practice focuses on employment law, professional liability, workers’ compensation, and general casualty defense litigation. In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Cole is president and managing shareholder of Lewis Thomason, as well as managing partner of the firm’s Nashville office. She also serves the firm as General Counsel and is responsible for handling ethical and professional responsibility matters for the firm. She is an ex-officio member of the Board of Directors and shareholder compensation committee.
Jackie Dixon is a trial lawyer with over 35 years of experience in all aspects of family law, including divorce, custody and adoption; wills, estates, conservatorships, and probate litigation; personal injury; and, general civil litigation as well as appellate work. She is also a Tennessee Supreme Court listed family law mediator. She currently serves as treasurer of the Tennessee Bar Foundation and vice-chair of the Tennessee Lawyer Assistance Program Commission. She is past president of the Tennessee Bar Association and the Tennessee Lawyers Association for Women. Jackie gives back to the community by serving on the board of A Step Ahead Middle Tennessee where she is a founding board member and past board president.
