Brown & James principal Agota Peterfy was selected to receive the Law Firm Mentor Award as part of the Missouri Lawyers Media Up & Coming awards. The award honors more experienced legal professionals who have played an important role in the development of those starting out in the profession.
Agota serves as the chair of the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee and was elected as a shareholder this year. Her primary practice focuses on asbestos litigation and product liability, but she also makes sure promising associates at the firm receive the training and support they need to progress their careers to the next level. She spends countless hours on our diversity efforts, whether it be overseeing the committee, organizing events, ensuring the firm is meeting Mansfield qualifications, or mentoring young lawyers.
Agota is currently serving as a member of the board of directors for the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers.
Agota was honored at a reception earlier this month.
