About the Webinar:
Social media is here to stay, and it is growing rather than slowing. It no doubt impacts the workplace. Employers now have a multitude of social media applications to discover information, intentionally or unintentionally, about candidates and employees. But, does the employer want the headache or the legal risk of obtaining information that once before was not so easily accessible? Employers must navigate the legal and business landmines associated with information at our fingertips. Privacy issues, National Labor Relations Act issues–even for the non-unionized employer–and other law and policy issues are implicated with social media. During this webinar, ALFA International attorneys Candace Bankovich and Celia Pauli will explore the pros and cons associated with social media and how to avoid legal pitfalls.
