Mary Petrinjak

Mary Petrinjak practices in the areas of regulatory healthcare, transactional healthcare and business and commercial law. In addition to advising clients on general business matters, her practice includes counseling providers and suppliers on a variety of healthcare matters including the application of fraud and abuse laws (such as Stark, the False Claims Act, the federal Anti-kickback statute and state self-referral laws), HIPAA compliance issues, Medicare and other third party payer audits and appeals, coding and billing issues, physician fee splitting and corporate practice of medicine issues. Mary assists clients in establishing new businesses, setting up physician practices, structuring business relationships and negotiating contractual relationships with employees, independent contractors and third parties. Her practice also includes representing providers and suppliers in merger and acquisition transactions.
