Kristian Moriarty
Kristian Moriarty
Kristian Moriarty’s central focus is to adhere to this principle in every matter; from the first communication with the client, to the close of file. As a member of Haight Brown & Bonesteel’s Risk Management & Insurance Law, Transportation, and Products Liability Practice Groups, Mr. Moriarty has experience with all phases of litigation including early case evaluation, discovery, trial preparation, and trial. He has handled percipient witness, expert, and party depositions. He also has experience drafting and arguing of dispositive motions, participation in alternative dispute resolution forums, and trial.
Kristian has represented both insureds and insurers in litigation involving coverage disputes. By review of insurance coverage position letters, providing coverage advice, and the preparation of written coverage opinions, he has become familiar with an array of issues arising from the interpretation of insurance policies.
Kristian has been the handling associate in myriad disputes involving trucking accidents, including representation of employee drivers, owner-operators, and the business entities for whom they operate. He is familiar with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations, and takes a proactive approach in obtaining the electronic driving logs, employee drug and alcohol testing reports, hiring materials, and other pertinent documentation in order to evaluate liability at the outset of litigation.
