GENERAL
The ALFA International Retail Real Estate Practice Group (the “Group”) is comprised of over fifty well-established and experienced ALFA International member attorneys practicing in firms across the United States. The goal of the Group is to offer insightful and value-added legal services to regional, national and international landlords, developers and retailers, targeting important legal issues this industry confronts on a daily basis. FOCUS
The programs that this Group focuses upon provide solutions and options for retailers who operate multiple stores, locations, or brands, as well as landlords and developers, on a regional, national, or international basis. The Group’s national and international network of skilled lawyers is well-suited for clients with geographically diverse operations. From a subject matter standpoint, the Group provides legal services for a wide range of issues including:

- leasing and landlord/tenant relations
- acquisitions and dispositions
- zoning and land use

ACTIVITIES
Lawyers within this Group are committed to a broad slate of activities. The Group's bi-annual three-day seminars gather together more than 100 attorneys and clients to listen to and participate in a broad array of pertinent items and topical issues. A sub-committee of the Group will endeavor to place Group lawyers as speakers within upcoming programs of retail and real estate organizations or associations in the United States and Europe. Most member attorneys are very active in high-profile retail and real estate trade associations.
EVENTS
